Our first look at this DVD edition was quite favorable, with the disc mastered from excellent 35mm materials held by La Cinémathèque française.

The film is accompanied by a music score performed on piano by Neil Brand.

The edition is accompanied by a 28-page booklet with an essay by Lenny Borger, with notes on the films of the collection.

We enthusiastically recommend this edition of The Burning Crucible. Unfortunately, the edition is now out-of-print.
