Henderson has just been engaged as feature producing director for the California Motion Picture Company by Herbert Payne, the president. / Mr. Henderson was an actor and a director on the legitimate stage before he joined the motion picture forces. He is also known as a playwright. Then he joined the Thanhouser Company as director and was later transferred to the Majestic, in Los Angeles, where he directed “Sapho,” “The Reform Candidate,” “Ruy Blas” and other successes of that brand. / The California Motion Picture Corporation is planning to place a number of big features on the market at once.
